The Burgundy Room

Every room and apartment at our historic inn is thoughtfully curated to honor the timeless elegance of our French Second Empire Victorian architecture, complete with its classic mansard roof architecture.

Named The Burgundy, this space celebrates both the rich, world-renowned red wine region of France and the deep, romantic hue that defines its decor. From the warm, velvety accents and deep wine-toned furnishings to subtle nod-worthy wall decor, every corner is designed to evoke a sense of quiet luxury and passion.

Whether you are sipping a glass of fine wine by the window or unwinding in the lush bed, The Burgundy stands as perhaps our most intimate and romantic sanctuary at the inn. Unplug, pour a glass, and let yourself be transported.

The room sleeps two in the queen bed, however we are able to provide a cot to sleep a third person.

The main level invites you to unwind in elegant, warm-toned grand rooms boasting 12 foot ceilings, historic wood floors, intricate ceiling medallions, and original working pocket door, and glowing chandeliers:

You’ll find historical newspapers, vintage letters, classic postcards, authentic artifacts, and artwork—each piece accompanied by written descriptions so you can explore history at your own pace.
• Grand Dining Room & Kitchen: Enjoy full access to a sunlit dining hall adorned with a crystal chandelier, custom millwork, and a warm hearth, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
